To protect hiskingdom from his elder brother moggalan, kashayapa move his kingdom from Aaurad hapura to sigiriya.He built his palace one rock. The entrance to the rock was in the shape ofa lion’s head .Its paws can deseen even today. This may be one of the reasons why it is called sigiriya or Lion Rock. To get to the
